Connecting accounts provides the most accurate and detailed data required by our engine, which accounts for different account types (e.g., 401k, Trad IRA, Roth IRA, etc) for tax optimization and asset allocation for risk and growth assumptions.
When you connect your accounts, this is done using an industry-standard third-party service called Yodlee, used by many financial institutions. When accounts are linked with Yodlee, passwords are NOT stored with PensionPlus.
